Nate and Cami:
We met a little over 3 years ago at a BYU singles' ward break-the-fast and immediately became best buds over free food. We started dating a few months after that, and have been falling further in love ever since. (Also, we have been looking for free food ever since.)
We graduated from BYU in 2010 and are HUGE cougar fans for LIFE. We like biking and camping, and though nearly all of our travels are currently to New York or Portland (our homes) we hope to someday be a family that goes on awesome vacations.
We don't have kids yet, but don't you worry, when we do we will be GREAT parents!
Nathan:
Nate is a first-year medical student. He 'schools' for 12-14 hours every day that isn't during exam week. I think he also has a secret goal of doing at least one thing every day to make me feel loved. During his study breaks he plays ping-pong with me, eats snacks, or does pull-ups on the pull-up bar in the doorway to his study.
Cami:
I am a nursing student at the same school as Nate. We fully intend to let people believe we met on the job and had a steamy hospital romance. I have an obsession with clean stuff, so I mostly clean, organize, and disinfect stuff in my free time.
I go through stages, and right now I'm in a freezer-meal stage which is AWESOME because I cook a few times a month and we have good meals every night. Wow, I'm boring myself. But seriously, if you have any questions about freezer-meals, I'm your girl.
Update: Yeah, the freezer meals didn't really work out. Besides soups and shredded meats, turns out it takes HOURS to cook frozen meals. When you get home at 10 at night, you don't really want to wait until 2 am to eat. They kind of taste gross anyway. So, my new obsession? QUILTING! I've made 2 so far, and I'm working on my 3rd and 4th (simultaneously). This stage probably won't last too long either, but if you have questions about quilting... well, don't ask me, I really don't know much...
