Last week was Nate's block week. If you're not a part of the med world, block week happens once every six weeks, there are no classes and lots of tests, and Nate goes from Sunday afternoon to Sunday morning without seeing the sun. Literally. There aren't even windows at our school, so he doesn't get to see the sun from the inside, either.
(And since we share a car, I have to go to school the same hours he does, which means I don't see the sun either...and I don't do so well without my vitamin D!)
Anyway, his last block test was on Friday. My finals started today. Not the best timing. While Nate gets to take a bit of a breather, I'm still studying away in the dungeon. Yuck.
Luckily, I can study from home better than he can (obviously - as is evidenced by my non-studying blog post) so we got to see the sun and come home today.
Nate's study is directly above mine, and a few minutes ago he started to make quite a raucous up there. So, I went to check it out.
This is what I found:
If I don't get some Valentine's surprise later tonight, I'm going to be awfully skeptical...
