Cliff notes version of 2010:
And just in case you're a student and you spent most of the year in a secluded study room, here is what else you missed......
Happy New Year!

Merry Christmas!
Five years of Christmases:
- December 25, 2006: Nate in OR. Cami in NY. Both at BYU, studying (and dating) hard.
- December 25, 2007: Nate in OR. Cami in NY. Nate texts Cami: Merry Christmas. Cami misses Nate. Nate thinks, "I'm in love!"
- December 25, 2008: Nate and Cami engaged to be married....the next day!
- December 25, 2009: Nate and Cami in NY. First Christmas as married people. Wonderful. Found out 2 days earlier that Nate was accepted to medical school at our number 1 choice. Good day.
- December 25, 2010: Nate and Cami both advancing in health professions. Studying always. So happy and merrily married.
Happy, happy day to you and yours.

Where Are You Christmas?
Something is different about the Christmas season this year.
Maybe it's because I'm STILL in school (and will be until Tuesday evening).
Maybe it's because it's still sunny with temperatures in the 70's outside.
Maybe it's because I'm not going home this year.
Maybe it's because we're going to Hawaii on Christmas Day this year, so our excitement is being shared.
Maybe it's because all of our presents were purchased and wrapped by Halloween.
Maybe it's because for some reason I've been against Christmas music this year.
For whatever reason, something is different.
But there was something that helped put that Christmas feeling in the air....
A Christmas party!

Delicious fondue. Yum.
Awesome friends.
White elephants.

Fake HD fire, aka, YULE LOG.
Kids upstairs with the babysitters.
Cookie exchange.
So fun.
Merry Christmas!

Lunchtime
Sometimes Nate's friends' wives (who are also my friends) come to lunch with their husbands at school. I think I might like this more than Nate's friends do. First, because I get to see my friends. Second, because they have really cute kids.
I like to trap them in boxes.

Oh My Goodness, This Girl Is Adorable
When I left for college, one of my baby sisters was 6. The other one was 8.
This little cutie is 7.
I think I will always think of my baby sisters as being this girl's age...
toothless, singing, dancing, playing dress-up, and laughing.
Merry Christmas!

We do cool things too!
Ah! This blog is becoming a slideshow of our days and nights at school.
We are totally B.O.R.I.N.G.
How embarrassing.
But on Sunday we decorated our tree.
Proof that we do cool things:

2 more weeks from TODAY and we will have something to blog about other than our study habits. Yay!

Happy Hanukkah!
Did you know we go to a private Jewish medical school? We get lots of days off that most people don't, like Sukkot, Shavuot, and Passover. Hanukkah, however, is a different story. Ironically the only Jewish holiday most people have heard about really is not THAT huge of a deal.
So, yes, we have school, even on Hanukkah. And we are celebrating in style:
Happy Friday!
